WEEKEND CAFE ASSISTANT

RATE OF PAY :       £6.56/hr (over 21’s)

£5.13 /hr (under 21’s)

HOURS :                   12pm-3pm Saturday

Although contracted hours are only 3hrs per week we expect all our weekend staff to be flexible and able to work additional hours when available to help cover holidays / sickness etc. If applicant is at school/college/university, we would require you to work additional hours during holidays when available.

START DATE :       ASAP

THE ROLE   :          Serving of food and beverages to customers in a professional manner.

                              Barista duties using a manual coffee machine.

Cashier duties.

Cleaning and deep cleaning of catering equipment and food service areas including customer areas.

Washing up & managing the dishwashing section.

Accepting catering deliveries and processing.

Storing goods correctly and using stock on a rotational basis.

Any other duties required by the Catering Manager.

REQUIREMENTS:Applicants should be 16 years of age or older

                              Previous experience in a similar environment preferred but not essential

Candidates should take pride in their personal appearance & have a high level of personal hygiene.

You should be passionate about good food and drink and have a good knowledge of it.

                              A good level of general education.
